Klopp Announces Departure of Assistant Coach to Saudi League

The head coach of Liverpool, German Jürgen Klopp, announced that one of his assistants will move to coach in the Saudi Roshn League. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Klopp stated: "John Achterberg (goalkeeping coach) will join the Saudi league to be part of the coaching staff at Al-Ettifaq, which is led by Steven Gerrard (Liverpool legend)."

Achterberg has been Liverpool's goalkeeping coach for the past 15 years and has decided to leave the English club to join Al-Ettifaq following Klopp's announcement of his exit from Liverpool at the end of the current season.

Al-Ettifaq has several well-known players, including former Liverpool star, Dutch international Gini Wijnaldum, and French striker Moussa Dembélé, among other stars. The team currently occupies sixth place in the Saudi Roshn League standings.
