For the First Time in Saudi Arabia: The Launch of Fashion Week on the Red Sea

The first edition of Fashion Week on the Red Sea is underway on "Ummhat" Island, one of the Red Sea islands, organized by the Fashion Authority over three days at the St. Regis Resort. The opening day featured a fashion show with seven brands, including five Saudi brands and two international brands. On Friday, the second day of the event, there was a swimwear show by Moroccan designer Yasmina Qiu, featuring international models. This cultural and economic event represents an important milestone in the fashion industry in the Kingdom and is one of the authority's key initiatives to enhance this sector and integrate it into the global market. The event aims for the fashion sector in the Kingdom to be present at global fashion-related platforms and to be a key player in various aspects of the industry on a global scale, especially since it represents an important and effective contributor to the economies of countries.
