Father Held at Gunpoint!

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced today, Sunday, the arrest of a person who held his father at gunpoint in Maysan Province. According to a statement from the ministry, “Based on a report from a citizen about his son holding him captive under the threat of armed force, a unit from the 11th Brigade arrested the suspect after locating where the father was held and released him in the Al-Arawdhat area of Maysan Province.” The statement continued, “The detained father expressed his gratitude for the prompt response to his call and the follow-up by security forces on all security and humanitarian cases.” It also noted that “the suspect has been formally referred to the relevant authorities to complete legal proceedings against him.”
