The coordinator of the "Resistant Arab Current," Sheikh Abdul Salam Harash, announced the death of Aleppo bishops Youhanna Ibrahim and Paul Yazigi since their kidnapping, stating: "The issue of the Aleppo bishops is a national and humanitarian matter and should be removed from the realm of exploitation, propaganda, and media." He added: "We were in Aleppo with our people making exceptional efforts through indirect communications to uncover their fate, away from political propaganda out of respect for human feelings." Harash indicated that the current had held meetings with the patriarch in Damascus and Bakfaya, as well as with the Director of General Security in Beirut, and informed them of the bishops' deaths since their kidnapping.
