The "Mike Sport" sports equipment group announced in a conference held at its headquarters in Zalka the launch of the first league for the "padel" game in Lebanon. The launch event was attended by a large number of sports personalities, players, and media representatives, during which the organizers revealed the start date of the league. The first round will take place on May 25, featuring the participation of 12 clubs. Samir Saliba, the CEO of "Mike Sport" and former president of the Tennis Federation, stated, "We are proud to launch this league as a pioneering endeavor that reflects our commitment to promoting sporting excellence and enhancing community participation." The event was attended by the President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee Pierre Jalakh, his deputy Assad Al-Nakhal, the member of the Asian Olympic Council and President of the Lebanese Equestrian Federation Major General Suhail Khoury, as well as the presidents of the volleyball, fencing, and Muay Thai federations, Walid Qassouf, Jihad Salameh, and Sami Qablawi, respectively, along with several members of sports federations and club presidents.
