The office of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Mawlawi, clarified in a statement regarding "the circulating content about the Minister's statement to Al Arabiya channel." It was emphasized that His Excellency did not state during the interview that "the attacker of the American embassy in Awkar transported explosives from Majdal Anjar to Awkar." What Minister Mawlawi mentioned was that the attacker transferred the items he had in a bag from the Majdal Anjar area and that he entered the entrance of one of the buildings and wore what he had with him. This clarification was necessary.
