Barcelona Makes Final Decision on Roque

Barcelona has made a decisive decision regarding the future of its Brazilian striker Vitor Roque, as confirmed by Spanish media reports on Thursday evening. Previous reports had suggested that Barcelona might loan out the 19-year-old Roque to another team next season in order for him to gain more playing time. However, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported on Thursday that Barcelona has reconsidered this idea and intends to keep the player within the team for the upcoming season.

The newspaper added that Barcelona believes the best decision is for Roque to remain with the team for the remainder of the season, starting the next season from scratch with his teammates. Although he has not had many opportunities so far, the coaching staff and management are pleased with the contributions of the striker nicknamed "Tigrinho". He has a clear desire to learn and absorbs everything swiftly, despite the limited minutes he has played.

Barcelona was able to sign Roque last summer amidst fierce competition from Paris Saint-Germain, and the Brazilian player joined the team last January, taking advantage of the fact that Gavi's injury created a spot in the team’s roster.
