Berri: If Dialogue is Held, It is Very Natural for Me to Chair It

President Nabih Berri reaffirmed through "Al-Jomhouria" that presidential dialogue, consultation, or any synonym of them, which ensures the parties meet at the table, is the only mandatory path for electing a president. He stated: "Without this dialogue, and within a period not exceeding one week—perhaps we could agree in a day or two—we will remain stuck in place." In response to a question, Berri said, "I am not the one who will call for the dialogue, but the calls will be handled by the General Secretariat of the Parliament. If the dialogue is held, it is very natural for me to chair it."
