Continuous Shelling in Southern Lebanon - Reports of Casualties

This Sunday evening, the region of Hamoul - Naqoura, along with the towns of Maroun al-Ras, Bledah, and Muhaybib, was subjected to Israeli artillery shelling. Reports indicate that there were injuries in the town of Aita al-Shaab as a result of the shelling. An Israeli Apache helicopter launched a guided missile at the town of Aitaroun. Firefighting teams from the Islamic Scout Association, in collaboration with the Lebanese Civil Defense, worked to extinguish a fire that broke out in one of the houses in Maroun al-Ras due to the Israeli artillery shelling. The National News Agency reported that the Israeli army targeted civilian residential areas in the town of Aita al-Shaab, where its fighter jets carried out an airstrike around seven minutes past seven in the evening, dropping two air-to-ground missiles targeting a house and completely destroying it, with reports of injuries. For its part, the "Islamic Resistance" announced that it targeted "a gathering of Israeli vehicles and soldiers around the village of Honin with appropriate weapons, inflicting casualties, as well as targeting the Avivim military base with appropriate weapons, achieving confirmed injuries there." Israel reported that it had bombed positions for launching weapons and facilities belonging to "Hezbollah" in Lebanon in response to gunfire across the border.
