The body of Syrian national Hamid Al-Mohammad (35 years old) was transported to the government hospital in Hermel, eastern Lebanon, after he died in a traffic accident. The details reveal that a pickup truck transporting goods, which was being driven by Al-Mohammad, veered off the road in the Wadi Al-Turkman area in the outskirts of Hermel and came to rest in a cemetery, where the roof collapsed onto it. This resulted in his death and injured another person who was with him. Red Cross personnel transferred the injured person to Al-Asi Hospital, while efforts to remove the collapsed roof continued for about two hours by Red Cross teams and rescue teams from the Islamic Health Authority until the body was retrieved. The Hermel police station is conducting an investigation into the incident.
