The province of Erbil in northern Iraq hosted the first Iraqi conference on artificial intelligence, with the participation of experts and specialists from several countries. The conference, which began yesterday, featured presentations of robots and innovations based on artificial intelligence technologies developed by Iraqi talents. Participants discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on people's daily lives and current professions, especially in the medical field. Participants expressed concerns about "the monopolization of artificial intelligence technologies by large companies," while also highlighting Iraq's need for 40,000 experts in information technology and artificial intelligence to protect digital infrastructure, particularly as government institutions move towards digitalization.
