According to official media reports, on Thursday, "a passenger bus carrying children on a school trip fell into the waters of the Orontes River in the Ayoune Ara area near the city of Darkush in western Idlib."
Civil defense diving teams are working to extricate the children from the bus in the Orontes River and transfer them to Al-Rahma Hospital in Darkush following the incident involving a school bus carrying over 50 children that fell into the river. More than 20 children have arrived at Al-Rahma Hospital and are still alive.
