Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received the ambassadors of the Quintet in Ain al-Tineh. It was reported that U.S. Ambassador Lisa Johnson was absent due to travel, and the chargé d'affaires at the U.S. Embassy attended in her place. Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Moussa confirmed after the Quintet's visit to Ain al-Tineh that "the meeting was positive and a new step that can be built upon towards electing a president," adding, "There will be more consultations in the coming days with the parliamentary blocs."
