The White House: Biden and Sheikh Tamim Confirm Ceasefire Agreement Provides Roadmap to End Gaza Crisis

U.S. President Joe Biden urged Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to "take all appropriate measures" to ensure Hamas's agreement to the ceasefire and the release of hostages currently on the table. The White House stated that Biden and Sheikh Tamim "confirmed that the comprehensive ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages currently on the table provide a concrete roadmap to end the crisis in Gaza." The White House added, "The president affirmed Israel's readiness to proceed with the terms that have now been presented to Hamas."
