The Traffic Management Authority and the Vehicle Registration Department announced a new mechanism for receiving citizens over the next two months to provide services that were previously announced, in addition to new services, including:
- Returning a public tour vehicle to service
- Transferring ownership of a public tour vehicle
The process is as follows:
A. At the main center in Dekwaneh:
- Tuesdays on February 13, 20, 27, and March 5, 12, 19, 26, 2024
- Wednesdays on February 21, 28, and March 6, 13, 20, 27, 2024
Appointments must be booked in advance on the Authority's website, and the platform is open for scheduling appointments.
- Thursdays are designated for citizens who are directly involved or can attend through authorized representatives from their close relatives (up to the second degree) with a properly organized authorization. This is set as follows:
- On February 15, March 7, and March 28, 2024, for new cars/motorcycles/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 0/1/3/2
- On February 22 and March 14, 2024, for new cars/motorcycles/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 4/6/5
- On February 29 and March 21, 2024, for new cars/motorcycles/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 7/8/9
B. In the other departments (Zahlé, Sidon, Nabatieh, and Tripoli), work will continue on the previously mentioned dates as follows:
- Tuesdays for cars/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 0/1/3/2
- Wednesdays for cars/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 4/6/5
- Thursdays for cars/driving licenses ending with chassis/sequence numbers: 7/8/9
The department also reminded citizens that they can view the services currently provided on the Authority's website at https://tmo.gov.lb/web/panel/announcements, as well as the required documents based on the type of service intended at https://tmo.gov.lb/web/panel/info. The department will announce the provision of new services in the coming days on its website and social media accounts.
