The Lebanese Industrialists Association, headed by Salim Za'ni, actively participated in the annual gathering for the hospitality and food service industries "Horeca," held at the "Seaside Arena." Their strong presence at the exhibition included organizing two significant events: Meet the Buyers and Innovation.
The association invited around 20 foreign traders from its clientele to the first activity, arranging meetings with some Lebanese manufacturers to discuss investment opportunities and the potential for exporting Lebanese industries and products to their markets. This initiative saw a high turnout and notable interest from foreign entities towards food industries and related sectors such as packaging, culminating in over 450 business meetings.
The association appreciated the participation of foreign businessmen in this exhibition, despite the war conditions in Lebanon and the recent challenges with air travel, confirming that the Meet the Buyers activity generated a positive impact among participants and garnered significant attention.
The second activity, titled Innovation, featured a competitive contest showcasing industrial innovations, which involved developments through relabeling, repackaging, or fusion. A judging panel was established for this purpose, with the participation of the Industrialists Association. This activity also witnessed high attendance and engagement from exhibitors.
The Industrialists Association emphasized its essential partnership with "Hospitality Services," the organizers of the "Horeca" exhibition, highlighting that this gathering created an interactive relationship between Lebanese industries and the hospitality, restaurant, food service, and supermarket sectors.
