Transfer of the Israeli Delegation Participating in Eurovision and the Reason Behind It

The Israeli Broadcasting Authority announced that "the Israeli delegation participating in the Eurovision Song Contest has been moved to another location within the delegation complex due to the anger of the adjacent Irish delegation." The broadcasting authority indicated that "the transfer of the Israeli delegation was requested by the European Broadcasting Union to separate them from the angry Irish delegation." Additionally, the organizers excluded Dutch singer Joost Klein from the competition following a complaint made against him. The Dutch artist protested on Thursday evening due to being alongside Israeli candidate Eden Golan during a press conference and covered his face with his country's flag during the event. More than 20,000 demonstrators are participating in ongoing protests against Israel's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
