The United Arab Emirates is seeking a strong connection with the United States regarding the artificial intelligence sector, hoping to become a global powerhouse in developing this advanced technology. According to a report published by the Financial Times, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, Omar Sultan Al Olama, stated that the recent deal with Microsoft to acquire a stake worth $1.5 billion in G42, an artificial intelligence company in Abu Dhabi, is just the beginning of greater technical cooperation between the two countries. The minister said, "You will now see the results of this collaboration, both between G42 and Microsoft, and also between the UAE and the United States."

The ambitions for artificial intelligence in the UAE have become more pronounced this year as the country seeks to position itself as a global AI hub. The UAE has established "MGX" as a national company focused on developing artificial intelligence and advanced technology in the country.
