Air Force Club striker Ayman Hussein maintained his position as the top scorer in the Iraqi Premier League with the conclusion of the 21st round of the second phase of the local competition. Hussein led the scoring list with seventeen goals, ahead of his closest rival, Syrian professional player for Maysan Oil Club, Alaa Al-Din Al-Dali, who scored 12 goals. In third place was Oil Club's Okiki Afolabi with eleven goals, while Syrian player for Al-Shorta, Mahmoud Al-Mawas, dropped to fourth place with ten goals after previously being in third place before the end of the first phase.
In fifth place was Al-Hudood player Ibrahim Ghazi, also with ten goals, followed by Al-Kahrabaa player Mahmoud Khalil in sixth place with the same tally. Al-Shorta player Mohanad Ali "Mimi" remained in seventh place with nine goals, while Nuruz player Ibrahim Tummio was in eighth with the same amount. Air Force Club player Ali Jassim was positioned second to last with eight goals, and at the bottom of the scoring chart was Al-Kahrabaa player Mohyamin Salim with seven goals.
