Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo achieved two historic milestones in his club Al Nassr's match against Al Ittihad on Monday. Ronaldo scored two goals in the match, which ended with a score of 4-2 in favor of Al Nassr. The club posted on its account on "X," featuring a picture of Ronaldo, accompanied by the caption: "Cristiano Ronaldo breaks the Saudi League Record for most goals in a season."
Ronaldo's goal tally this season in the Saudi League reached 35 goals in 31 matches, seven goals ahead of Serbian international striker Aleksandar Mitrović of Al Hilal. Ronaldo also became the first player in football history to be the top scorer in four different leagues. He has previously been the top scorer with Real Madrid in Spain, Juventus in Italy, Manchester United in England, and now with Al Nassr.
