Protest of Hundreds of Japanese at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo

Hundreds of Japanese organized a demonstration in front of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo to protest Washington's support for Israel and the supply of weapons to it. The protesters titled the demonstration: "Movement in Front of the American Embassy, Emergency Action, Peace for Palestine." The police allowed four of the demonstrators to approach the embassy gate, where they read statements condemning the United States and its "involvement in genocide" against the Palestinian people. They concluded their speeches by stating, "America has brought shame upon itself by supporting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the genocidal attacks being carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people." The protesters chanted: "Biden, you can't hide, Biden, Biden, don't support genocide."
