The Russian Emergency Ministry reported on Sunday that three people were injured due to a fire breaking out at an oil refinery owned by the major Russian oil company Lukoil near the city of Ukhta in the Komi Republic, a region in northwest Russia. The ministry's regional branch stated that 74 personnel were engaged in extinguishing the fire that erupted in one of the tanks at the refinery located four kilometers from Ukhta. It added, "According to revised data, we confirmed that the fire occurred while a contracting company was conducting routine technical work," without providing details about the injuries.
