The President of South Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, welcomed the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, on Wednesday, during his two-day state visit to South Korea. An official reception ceremony took place at the presidential office in Seoul, where Korean aircraft performed welcome displays, and artillery fired a 21-gun salute. Honor guards lined up to pay tribute to him, and the national anthems of both the UAE and South Korea were played. Groups of children performed an Emirati song in the local dialect, while others waved the flags of both countries and chanted welcoming phrases. Sheikh Mohammed’s visit was celebrated by the public, with the streets of the capital, Seoul, adorned with the flags of the UAE and illuminated with the colors of the Emirati flag.
