Turkish authorities arrested eight individuals in an anti-"ISIS" operation across six provinces, centered in Şanlıurfa, according to the Anadolu Agency. The teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Terror Branch initiated action based on directives from the local chief public prosecutor's office to uncover "terrorist organizations and apprehend their members." The relevant authorities identified the locations where the eight suspects were hiding, revealing that they are members of ISIS. During the simultaneous operation conducted at locations in Şanlıurfa, Istanbul, Mersin, Konya, Sakarya, and Bolu, eight suspects were detained. The Anti-Terror Branch teams also seized "10 digital materials during the searches of the addresses."
