Jeddah University Students Shine at the Geneva International Inventions Exhibition

Jeddah University received two bronze medals for its inventions participating in the 49th edition of the Geneva International Inventions Exhibition 2024, held from April 17 to 21 in Geneva. The university showcased two inventions: the first focused on health inspection for smart buildings using computer vision, presented by students Wijdan Walid Baowizer, Nourah Mansour Fulmban, and Atheer Alyan Al-Mohamadi. The second invention was a tool for detecting and preventing DDoS attacks, presented by students Bassam Osama Suwaydan, Hamza Awda Al-Harbi, and Hussein Abdullah Al-Malki. It is noteworthy that the Geneva International Exhibition for Inventions is one of the largest fairs and competitions for inventions in the world, attracting significant interest, widespread participation, and high levels of engagement from those interested in various fields of innovation, research, and inventions globally.
