Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that "the failure of the Zionist entity to invade Gaza last night is the second victory after the Flood of Al-Aqsa," explaining that "the Zionist entity has not achieved any real accomplishment after the Flood of Al-Aqsa, and this is a strategic failure." He emphasized that "the crimes of the Zionist entity exceed humanitarian and military red lines, which could prompt everyone to act."
Raisi observed that "the United States has sent messages to the resistance axis and received a practical and public response on the ground," noting that "Washington is demanding we refrain from action while providing extensive support to the Zionist entity, which is an unfounded demand."
He added: "We, along with all Arab and Islamic countries and other nations around the world, support an immediate ceasefire," considering that "the United States and some European countries are obstructing the ceasefire in Gaza, and this is a crime."
He mentioned that "American calculations in the region are completely misguided and will not achieve their goals for a New Middle East," stressing that "we are engaged in extensive and diverse efforts, and our support for the Palestinians and the resistance is not up for negotiation."
Raisi informed that "the resistance in Palestine and the region is independent, and the decision is in its hands, not subject to orders from Tehran," emphasizing that "the Zionist entity and American support do not have the capacity to uproot the Palestinian resistance." He also affirmed that "the United States is well aware of our current capabilities and knows that surpassing them is out of the question."
