Mikati Follows Up on the Case of the Injured Girl Naya Hanna to Take Necessary Steps

The caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, has followed up on the case of the girl Naya Hanna, who was injured by a stray bullet, putting her in a coma in the hospital. For this purpose, he made a call to the girl's father, Jan Hanna, expressing his solidarity with the family during this difficult time and wishing for the girl's recovery. The Prime Minister has tasked the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee, Major General Mohammad Khair, with following up on the case with the relevant authorities and taking necessary steps.

On another note, the Prime Minister met at his residence with Ibrahim Al-Dukheiri, the Director-General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development affiliated with the Arab League, in the presence of Minister of Agriculture Abbas Al-Haj Hassan. Al-Dukheiri informed Prime Minister Mikati about the projects intended to be implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture in the fishery sector, specifically marine and river fish farming, as well as the projects supported by the organization concerning livestock production, production chains, and the national plan to enhance the wheat sector. Prime Minister Mikati appreciated the efforts made by the organization, calling for an Arab initiative for complementary Arab food security.

The Prime Minister made a call to the President of Côte d'Ivoire, Hassan Abdrahmane Ouattara, expressing condolences for the death of former President Henri Konan Bédié. He thanked the President of Côte d'Ivoire for his constant attention to the Lebanese community and his support in all areas. He also praised the "special relationship that the late President Bédié had with Lebanon."
