The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement today, Thursday: "On 27-05-2024, elements at the Dahar al-Baydar checkpoint in the regional gendarmerie unit arrested a suspect named: A. M. (born in 1966, Lebanese) who is wanted by the judiciary for drug-related offenses. After searching him and his vehicle, a four-wheel-drive 'Toyota', various items were found, including blank official documents (residence certificates, travel permits, and requests for civil status records), signed blank papers bearing another person's fingerprint, along with several different identification cards. The arrested individual, along with the seized items, has been referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings to be initiated against him, based on the directives of the competent judiciary."
