Following a round of joint US-UK strikes that targeted 18 Houthi sites last night, including weapon and missile warehouses, offensive drones, air defense systems, radars, and a helicopter, the Iran-backed group in Yemen vowed to escalate "its attacks."
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree stated in a message on the "X" platform today, "We will counter the US-UK escalation with more qualitative operations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea."
He also announced the targeting of an American oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden with several missiles. Additionally, he confirmed that the group had targeted several US warships in the Red Sea with drones.
