Security forces in Giza Governorate arrested artist Abbas Abu Al-Hassan after he caused injuries to two women by running them over with his car in Sheikh Zayed. Previously, artist Abbas Abu Al-Hassan sent an apology message to artist Hani Shakir for all the wrongs he had done to him, which had escalated to legal disputes. Abbas Abu Al-Hassan wrote a statement on his personal Instagram account, which included: "An official apology is obligatory... Truth is not known by men, but men are known by truth. I, Abbas Abu Al-Hassan, extend my sincere and heartfelt apology to artist Mr. Hani Shakir, the former president of the Musicians’ Syndicate, for everything I have said that was offensive towards him, as he is a significant artistic figure."
