The Vice President of the UAE, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, confirmed that "the ambitions of the UAE in the space sector continue," pointing out that "his support for new space missions is steadfast, and his care for young astronauts will increase." This statement came during his reception of Emirati astronauts and members of the "Zayed Ambition 2" team at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.
In a post on the "X" platform, he stated: "I reviewed the training programs for the two new astronauts, Mohammed Al Mulla and Fatima Al Matrooshi, and the upcoming programs at the center. The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre team has become one of our most important national teams and one of our key tools in creating a new future and a different scientific and knowledge-based reality in the country."
He added, "Our ambitions in the space sector continue... Our support for new space missions is steadfast... and our care for young astronauts will, God willing, increase."
