Israeli media reported this morning, Tuesday, that a failure to intercept two rockets in the sky over Safed, launched from Lebanon, led to a fire in the area. Israeli firefighting planes are battling the blaze. Israeli Channel 12 noted that the fires consumed thousands of dunams in Upper Galilee, and the true extent of the damage remains unknown.
An Israeli army spokesperson revealed that a soldier was moderately injured by shrapnel from an interceptor missile launched in the skies over Safed. "Hezbollah" announced targeting the Ramim barracks with artillery shells. On the other hand, the outskirts of the town of Deirmimas in the Al-Qusayba and Harif areas along the Litani River were subjected to a barrage of Israeli cluster munitions just after midnight, without igniting any fires.
