Israeli media reported today, Sunday, that dozens of rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards northern Israel. The Israeli media outlets stated that over 50 rockets were launched from Lebanon into Israel in the last hour. The Israeli authorities have requested residents of the Kiryat Shmona settlement to immediately enter shelters and protected areas.

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" indicated that sirens were sounded again to warn of rocket fire in Margaliot, Kiryat Shmona, Tel Hai, Misgav Am, and Kfar Giladi in the Upper Galilee. Hebrew Channel 12 reported that an Israeli settler was injured due to the recent rocket shelling on Kiryat Shmona and was transferred to Ziv Hospital in Safed.

For its part, Lebanese "Hezbollah" announced in a statement that it targeted "the command center of the Haboushit Battalion with a rocket salvo" and aimed at "the Kiryat Shmona settlement with a barrage of Fajr and Katyusha rockets." In another statement, Hezbollah claimed that its members shelled "Yiftach military camp with dozens of Katyusha rockets" and targeted the "Ramim camp with rocket fire and artillery shells."
