A video clip from the speech of Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, has gone viral on social media, where he mocks Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. In the circulated clip, Nasrallah says: "There is someone named the Defense Minister who understands and has a brain, who said a month ago: 'We have eliminated half of Hezbollah fighters and the other half are hiding'... Now, I would have called him 'crazy' but now I say he is foolish and overdramatic."
Nasrallah sarcastically questioned: "Does the Lebanon front in your north say that, Gallant?"
Activists on X platform reacted to the video and Nasrallah's statement, widely sharing it while ridiculing Gallant. In April, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated during a visit to the Northern Command that “about half of Hezbollah's field commanders in southern Lebanon have been eliminated, and the coming period will be decisive.”
It is worth noting that the Israeli army today acknowledged that four of its members were injured due to the fall of an anti-tank missile launched from Lebanon towards the "Yiftah" base near the border.
