Jordan's Crown Prince, Hussein bin Abdullah II, and his brother Prince Hashem participated in the training of the "Nashama" national team at the Amman International Stadium, in preparation for the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup. The Jordanian national team is set to play two matches against Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia as part of the fifth and sixth rounds of the dual qualifiers for the finals of the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup. The Jordan Football Association published a video on its social media accounts showing Prince Hussein and Prince Hashem shaking hands with players and members of the coaching and administrative staff before joining the training, interacting with different situations, and taking commemorative photos with team members, which sparked wide engagement. The Crown Prince and Prince Hashem had previously supported the "Nashama" team during the last Asian Cup finals, where the team reached the final match but lost the title to the host country, Qatar.
