Armed individuals carried out a robbery today, Tuesday, at a bank in the town of Dar Salah in the Bethlehem district, according to reports from Palestinian media. Colonel Luay Arzeqat, the spokesperson for the Palestinian police, stated that an armed robbery occurred at a branch of one of the banks in Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem, and that the police were present at the scene. Colonel Arzeqat confirmed that security forces were on-site immediately and began their investigations after collecting recordings, videos, and fingerprints to search for the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Witnesses reported to Palestinian media that "one of the bank employees was injured in the shoulder by the armed men who fled the scene using what appeared to be an illegal vehicle." A circulated video on social media showed one of the robbers taking cover behind a vehicle without license plates and masked, as he fired at a bank employee.
