A British newspaper reported today, Monday, that Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich are interested in acquiring a young American talent. According to "The Athletic," there is significant interest in the outstanding American star, Kavan Sullivan.
Sullivan, 14, has represented the United States at the youth level and has performed impressively, attracting the attention of European giants. The newspaper added that Sullivan is in advanced negotiations with Manchester City regarding a move to the Etihad Stadium. Sullivan has yet to agree to sign a professional contract with Philadelphia Union, his American club.
The newspaper indicated that Sullivan's future is expected to be in England, where City is projected to outpace Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in securing him. It was clarified that since Sullivan does not possess a European passport, he is set to be loaned to one of the clubs within the City Football Group in Belgium when he turns 16, before returning to the Citizens at the age of 18.
