Iran to Host the Asian Handball Championship for Youth

Following Iran's success in hosting several continental handball competitions and earning the satisfaction of the Asian Handball Federation, as well as the consultations held by the President of the Iranian Handball Federation, Alireza Bakdeli, to win the hosting rights for Asian competitions, the Asian Handball Federation (AHF) announced today, Friday, that it has chosen Iran to host the 10th Asian Handball Championship for Youth. It is noteworthy that Iran hosted the Youth Asian Handball Championship in 2006 and won the title. The 10th Youth Asian Handball Championship for athletes under 17 will take place from August 25 to September 3, 2024, and will serve as a qualifier for the World Handball Championship to be held in Slovenia in 2025.
