The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that "the Ambulance and Emergency Director Hani Al-Jaafarawy died as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a clinic in Gaza, while the Israeli army stated that the strike killed Mohammad Salah, a weapons developer for Hamas." The statement emphasized that "together with all health service providers, it is determined to continue its humanitarian medical duty despite the systematic targeting and direct killings that have affected 500 health personnel so far and the detention of more than 310 others under harsh and inhumane conditions."
