The French Interior Ministry announced today, Monday, that the far-right National Rally party and its allies received 33% of the votes in the first round of parliamentary elections. The New Popular Front alliance came in second with 28% of the votes. The ministry reported that the centrist alliance, to which President Emmanuel Macron belongs, received 20%.
