Egypt Responds to Israeli Fabrications Regarding

A high-ranking Egyptian source responded to accusations reported by media outlets citing American and Israeli sources, claiming that Egypt is blocking aid into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing. The source urged Israel to "review the position of the accumulated Egyptian aid at the Kerem Shalom crossing, which exceeds 500 trucks, before it claims and accuses Egypt of preventing aid from entering the sector."

A senior official in the Biden administration stated that Cairo is preventing the entry of humanitarian aid provided by the United Nations into Gaza, according to the "Times of Israel" website. The official added: "What should enter through the Kerem Shalom crossing is the UN aid currently in Egypt. Egypt is refraining from that until the situation at the Rafah crossing stabilizes."

Additionally, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urged Egypt on Wednesday to do everything in its power to ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

On another note, the high-ranking Egyptian source emphasized that Egypt will not allow "Israel to achieve its ambitions in Palestinian territories at our expense." The source stated: "The accusations from some Israeli officials against Egypt for not allowing Gaza residents to enter its territory are evidence of Israel's plans to displace Palestinians to Sinai." The source concluded: "We firmly reject Israel's plans to displace Gaza residents to Sinai."
