Ukraine Announces Destruction of Two Russian Military Boats in Crimea

According to the French Press Agency, the Ukrainian military intelligence reported that its forces used maritime drones to destroy two boats that were on patrol off the peninsula of Crimea, which was annexed by Moscow. The agency confirmed via Telegram that its special forces unit "Group 13," which operates maritime drones, successfully attacked the Russian boats in Crimea. It noted that Russia used fighter jets and helicopters in an attempt to destroy the drones in the Vozka Bay northwest of Crimea and fired at them using small arms and 30 mm cannons. A video recording was shared showing a helicopter firing in the water and flames apparently igniting at the shore, indicating that this did not prevent the Ukrainians from "successfully completing their combat mission."
