Turkey Decides to Join South Africa's Lawsuit Against Israel

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced today, Wednesday, that Turkey has decided to join South Africa's lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice, accusing it of committing genocide against the Palestinian people. The Turkish Foreign Minister pointed out that "the establishment of a Palestinian state and a two-state solution are essential matters that we reaffirmed with Western leaders, and some Western countries have begun to recognize that a two-state solution is unavoidable." Fidan emphasized that "Israel continues its crimes against the Palestinian people, and the international community must stop these crimes. Palestinians do not die alone in Gaza; rather, all humanity is affected, and we cannot accept the displacement of Palestinians from their land."
