The Israeli Army Radio reported that Hezbollah launched 80 rockets towards populated areas in Nahariya and Meron over a 24-hour period. It added that the activation of sirens in Nahariya caused panic and led more than 60,000 Israelis to seek refuge in shelters. The Israeli army responded to Hezbollah's targeting with localized strikes on several goals.
