The Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe has expressed her confidence and faith in the rulings of the Egyptian judiciary, following the seizure of funds belonging to her former manager. In a phone call with the media personality Amr Adib, Haifa Wehbe stated, "Thank God, I believe in the Egyptian judiciary. I have forgotten about these matters and left them to the lawyers and legal procedures. I am focused on more important things in my life."
She added, "God will take my right from him every day, and life has more important things than dwelling on people who have hurt or stolen from you." She continued, "There are people who recognize our value, and there are successes waiting for me."
When asked if she is considering returning to her audience with a new series, Haifa Wehbe replied, "I am currently filming a movie called 'Jouri' between Egypt and Lebanon, and I am filming another movie. As for the series, I like to choose it carefully because it is exhausting. If there is no script that facilitates being present during Ramadan, it might be outside the Ramadan season, which can sometimes be better."
It is noteworthy that Haifa Wehbe filed a legal complaint in 2020 through her lawyer, Advisor Yasser Qantosh, against Mohamed Hamza Abdel-Rahman Mohamed, known as Mohamed Zaki, accusing him of unlawfully seizing 63 million Egyptian pounds from her property through a general power of attorney that allowed him to manage her dues from producers, television channels, and some event organizers.
Haifa Wehbe's latest musical work is the music video for the song "Wasaltilha," which she recently released, with lyrics by Mahmoud Abdullah, composed by the late Mohamed Al-Nadi, and arranged by Suleiman Demiann. The video was directed by Eli Fahd. Her most recent cinematic work is the film "Ramses Paris," which was shown in Egyptian and Gulf cinemas.
