Egypt: A

Egypt is working on constructing a new space city in the administrative capital to serve the field of space sciences and localize this vital industry in the country. The space city is planned to cover an area of 115 acres, incorporating various space activities. It will include the main building of the Egyptian Space Agency, an administrative building, a conference hall, and a large library dedicated to space. Additionally, there will be a large monitoring and control building, along with several buildings and facilities for the technicians and workers at the satellite assembly center. The Egyptian space city will also feature a building dedicated to the African Space Agency, which Egypt has been instrumental in establishing. The city will also house a model engineering lab, a space environment lab, and a lab for testing space solar cells. The satellite design and production center has successfully produced Egypt's first satellite, "EgyptSat 2," with Chinese expertise, and launched it into space last December from the Taiyuan launch base in China.
