A sad night unfolded in the city of Mishtool Al-Suq in Sharqia Governorate, northern Egypt, after six members of the same family were found deceased and lined up inside their home. The incident began when security forces in Sharqia received a notification about a report of a couple and their four children found dead in their residence within the center's jurisdiction. The bodies were secured pending the arrival of the public prosecution for inspection.
Security forces immediately rushed to the scene and discovered the bodies of the couple and their four children, aged between 3 to 10 years, inside the house. Preliminary investigations revealed that the deaths were due to suffocation caused by gas leakage in the house, with no apparent injuries or signs of violence on the bodies.
The six bodies were transferred to the morgue of Mishtool Al-Suq Hospital, pending the public prosecution's decision to move the bodies to Al-Ahrar Educational Hospital in Zagazig and assign a forensic team to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, before they are laid to rest in a solemn ceremony in the Mishtool Al-Suq center.
