Khamenei: Raisi Worked Day and Night, Never Knew Exhaustion

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, indicated that "work and service for the people and enjoying popular support were the main features of the victims of the helicopter crash." Khamenei explained, during a meeting with the families of the victims, the services they provided to the country, especially those of the late President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, on both internal and external fronts. Serving the people and being present among them were prominent characteristics of the martyrs of the helicopter incident. "The late martyr Mr. Raisi never knew rest at night or during the day, and he did not know the meaning of exhaustion, in the true sense of the word," — Imam Khamenei (@ar_khamenei) May 25, 2024. Khamenei further stated, "Ibrahim Raisi worked day and night and never knew exhaustion," noting that "the grand funeral that took place in Iran proved that the people are alive. This procession practically demonstrated to the world how loyal the people are to their president and to anyone who embodies the principles of the Islamic Revolution." Today, Saturday, Iran witnessed a memorial ceremony for Raisi and his companions, attended by Khamenei at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyah.
