Russia Promises to Respond to EU Sanctions

The Russian Foreign Ministry responded today, Monday, to a new wave of sanctions imposed by the European Union on Moscow, stating that any unfriendly actions by the West will be met with "appropriate responses." The ministry described the sanctions as unlawful and stated in a statement that it has significantly expanded the list of individuals banned from entering Russia, without providing further details.
