U.S. and Russian Embassies Warn Their Citizens Against Traveling to Lebanon

The U.S. embassy in Beirut has warned its citizens against traveling to Lebanon due to the serious security situation. Additionally, the Russian embassy in Beirut recommended that "its citizens refrain from traveling to Lebanon until the situation in the south of the country calms down." However, the Russian ambassador to Lebanon stated, "We have not issued a new statement urging citizens to leave Lebanon; this is an old version."
